Construction Of Your Wind Turbine
Wind Energy Direct provides everything required to get your wind turbine built and operating – from the initial site assessment to engineering, design, procurement, construction and start-up.
The first step towards construction is a site assessment, followed by a feasibility study. Anemometers are installed to measure the wind resource and wind turbulence. Providing the site is found to be suitable, WED will secure the necessary planning for the project, with the required licenses and proceed to construction.
Engineering Excellence
WED’s engineering team understands the process of connecting to the utility grid. It is a fundamental component of any energy system. Successful interconnection requires not only engineering expertise, but an understanding of the complex nature of power generation.
Our engineers will manage all utility and site liaison to ensure a seamless transition from conventional to green electricity. Site integrity is of utmost importance as is being able to operate on sites with potentially hazardous or sensitive manufacturing processes.
Fully Managed
As project development progresses, WED will put in place the contracts necessary to procure the equipment, construct, and operate the project.
WED’s experienced team of personnel can perform all phases of project development – taking your wind energy project from a “concept” to a fully-functioning facility.
